§ 2-365. Additional provisions as to special funds; establishment of escrows.

In addition to the funds provided in this division, the city council shall have power to establish special funds for any specific purposes, such as, for example, the building of a certain sewer, or paving of certain portions of a street, the funds to be raised by the parties interested in the improvements and deposited to the credit of such special fund and to be expended only for the purposes of the fund. The city treasurer shall also be authorized to accept any money in escrow under any legal contract made by the city council or city manager, and hold and dispose of such money according to the terms of the escrow agreement or contract.
