§ 2-131. Duties of officers and employees.

The city council shall prescribe the duties of all of the officers and employees of the city where not prescribed by the city's Charter, and it shall be the duty of all such officers and employees to perform faithfully and diligently all the duties so prescribed by the council, and the failure so to do by any officer or employee of the city shall be deemed neglect of duty and good cause for dismissal.
