§ 118-31. Unlawful use of water.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to sell, furnish, take or permit to be taken, or use any water from the hydrants or other attachments of any company furnishing water under a franchise of the city to the inhabitants of the city, for domestic or other purposes, without having contracted for such service, with intent to defraud the company out of its revenue; and no person shall introduce the hydrant water or water derived from the system of any company holding such a franchise on his premises without the authority or consent of such company so authorized to furnish water to the inhabitants of the city.
