§ 114-822. Driving vehicles carrying projecting objects.

All vehicles carrying objects which project more than four feet from the rear shall, during the period of from one-half hour after sunset to one-half hour before sunrise, carry a red light at the end of the object so projecting, clearly visible for a distance of at least 500 feet to the sides and rear, and at any time shall carry a red flag or other marker of dimensions of at least one square foot at the extreme rear end of such load.
