Rule No. 6. - Draft of bills and resolutions.

  • (a)

    All bills and resolutions introduced in the city council shall be typewritten on one side only, on plain white paper, measuring eight inches by 11½ inches, single spaced and in such form as prescribed by the clerk of the council.

    (b)

    No bill may be introduced in the city council proposing to amend any existing law unless the bill sets forth the section or sections to be amended in their entirety, and indicates:

    (1)

    The language in existing law, if any, which the bill would eliminate by striking through such language; and

    (2)

    Any language which the bill would add to said section or sections by underlining all such additional language.
